Designers Anne Hilken and Christian Kurt started their label ANNTIAN in Berlin in 2006 with their debut collection, 'A Stripes Back'. Hilken and Kurt strive to express an intimate narrative with each collection they produce. This narrative is intended to force an intensive and in depth exploration of each individual piece and the collection as a whole. ANNTIAN handprints every piece, which makes each one individual and unique. The designers also strive to utilize regional manufacturing resources along with natural, more ecologically friendly fabrics. ANNTIAN presents their collections twice a year during the Berlin, Paris, and Tokyo fashion weeks.
