Based in Brooklyn, New York, IMAGO-A was founded in 2011 by Korean-born designer Yegang Yoo.

Yegang Yoo is a graduate of NYC's Parsons School of Design. She developed her skills and unique aesthetic working for such designers as Hussein Chalayan, Jens Laugeson, Vena Cava, and Rachel Comey.

IMAGO-A designs are defined by the development of signature shapes, pairing innovative three-dimensional design processes with uncompromising attention to fit and function. IMAGO-A makes it a priority to remain true to its location and environment, supporting local companies and making all pieces in and around Brooklyn and Manhattan.
