The clothing line Milena Silvano is ambitious in its spectrum of values, with beautiful and influential results.  The line, designed and produced by Milena Silvano, was started in 2010 and loosely entangles themes of traditional attire and crafts with contemporary ethics and spirituality. Milena, who lives and works in rural England, grows natural dyes such as madder root and is actively building relationships with her fabric sources in India. This intimate relationship of sourcing materials, dyeing and constructing each garment allows Milena to develop a unique design and manufacturing process that is distinct to her sensibility.
